Project requirements

The client wanted to automate its VMware-based infrastructure virtual machine provisioning for their internal teams across three different data centers in Europe. The Cloud platform has to be completely end-to-end automated with maximum open-source technology support.

Key challenges

The client wanted to completely automate the cloud platform using open-source technology as much as possible. Cloud portal should also have integration with the organization ITSM portal and provide a different frontend for the teams to request VMs.

Solution implementation

SysAlly designed a cloud automation solution keeping open source as the key technology in mind. We got complete ownership of the project with plans and KPIs agreed on the retrospectives. We used BPMN tools like Camunda while using Jenkins and Ansible for handling deployments. Java and React are the other technology stacks used for backend and frontend applications respectively. Using these technologies, we fully automated their business processes and workflows.
