The client approached us with the need to streamline and automate VMware-based infrastructure virtual machine provisioning within three distinct European data centers. Their vision encompassed an end-to-end automated cloud platform heavily reliant on open-source technology. Moreover, they aimed for seamless integration between the cloud portal and the organization's IT Service Management (ITSM) portal, along with a specialized frontend enabling teams to effortlessly request VMs. Our team successfully fulfilled this requirement by implementing VMware-based infrastructure virtual machine provisioning across multiple data center locations, effectively automating their cloud platform and seamlessly integrating it with the organization's ITSM portal. The result was a remarkable reduction in the provisioning and deployment time for virtual machines, plummeting from an extensive 6 hours to a significantly expedited 30 minutes. This enhanced efficiency revolutionized their operational landscape, driving productivity and agility within their infrastructure management processes.

Modules

• VMware infrastructure Automation - The infrastructure automation module streamlines ongoing operations such as network management, installation/move/add/change (IMAC) of workloads, user access management, storage, and data administration, deploying application workloads, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Virtual Machine Management Automation - The module automates the management of virtual machines and the allocation of resources.
• Billing Automation - The modules operate all the processes involved with the billing, including generating invoices, collecting payments, and handling approvals and provisioning.
